General Information

Standing in the midst of the countryside from which it takes its name The Waddington Arms is greatly much at the center of life in the legendary Ribble Valley. It's the ideal place to eat, to drink, to sleep and most importantly for a countryside inn, it's also the ideal place to meet, unwind and catch up with friends antique and present-day. Even though it is just 1 and a half miles from the bustling city of Clitheroe and five min drive from the A59, The Waddington Arms takes on a various pace utterly. Impressive food from well thought out menus is catered for breakfast and dinner 7 days a month and six picturesque bedrooms give a quiet base for exploration the Ribble Valley, Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire which are within simple get to, or simply sleeping off an evening in the Waddington Arms' highly vivacious and well stocked brasserie. The gardens and terraces have been remodelled, making the outside of the pub as exquisite and relaxing a site to be as the interior. There are barbecues, park toys, al-fresco dining and occasional live music. There might even be the odd, restful contemplative moment savouring a glass of wine in an English state park, listening to bird song and indeed appreciating the sheer vivid fortune we have in living in this peculiar corner of this green and marvellous land. On the other hand it might just rain. Wellies, walkers and dogs welcome to warm themselves by the fire. Either way, we would love to go through you.
