General Information

Christchurch Harbour Hotel and Spa is a recently re-equipped four Star Hotel and two AA Rosette Restaurant. Ideally placed on the water's edge facing one of Dorset's most beautiful estuaries and at the foot of the grand Dorset World Heritage Coast. Customers also enjoy complimentary use of the majestic recent Spa, where the amenities comprise a 14-metre inner pool, a sauna and steam apartment, hydrotherapy pool, gym and 4 treatment apartments, staffed by very experienced and professional therapists. Supplementary charges apply for treatments booked. Situated within the grounds of the Christchurch Harbour Hotel, Alex Aitken at The Jetty' is a exciting environmentally-friendly coastal restaurant. Literally on the water's edge of the estuary at Mudeford, the jetty' features walls of glass to drink in the vistas. Planned by Baufritz architects, the restaurant building is a fashionable, custom-built and pioneering timber build, especially chosen for its carbon-neutral qualities. Alex Aitken one of the South of England's most respected Michelin starred chefs is heading up the team at the recent Restaurant, Bar and Grill. Alex is a home-grown' cook with a big amount of knowledge and experience gleaned over a career devoted to culinary excellence. His list of accolades consists of the UK's upper food awards and features an unbridled commitment to local food. The Spa will be closed from Monday 7th March Friday 25th March 2011 inclusive and re-open on Monday 21st March 2011. During this period, we will be carrying out a program of designed maintenance. Treatments able to quiet be booked, but no access to the thermal will be permitted.

Transportation

Take the M27 to Junction 1 and then the A35 to Christchurch. Follow the signs for Mudeford and you should find the guesthouse situated in the very heart of the countryside of Mudeford.
