General Information

Embedded in the South Downs near Chichester, encircled by historic places such as Uppark and Adsdean House, Lordington Manor, Racton Ruins, Goodwood and slightly further afield Petworth House, Arundel Castle, Portsmouth Docks with the Spinnaker Tower. Built in 1907 Grandwood House was aboriginally a lodge cottage belonging to Watergate House which was accidentally burnt down by troops during the second World War. Located right in the centre of the South Downs it is just a short meander away from the local pub in surrounding Walderton which serves snacks and suppers. Big safety gates leading on to a tarmac driveway secures safe car parking at all times. All apartments are en room with some being double aspect. All are centrally heated and able to be either twin or double occupancy with vistas to either the park, open farmland or both. All apartments are non smoking and have tea/coffee making service. All rooms in the hotel have TV with DVD player and wi-fi connection.
