General Information

At Stone Villa, each effort features been made to produce your visit most homely. Built in 1850 is located at the end of tranquil cul-de-sac off the A56 into Chester making it simple to find us and our AA five Star rating says everything approximately your visit. All ten apartments have been renewed, providing both bath and shower in each adjacent bathroom. We provide three first floor apartments with wheelchair access. Car parking is in our privately-owned, floodlit parking to the facade of the Guest House. After a relaxing visit with all the amenities and comforts you expect in a five Star Guest House you are able to experience Stone Villa's breakfast, 2nd to none catered in our spacious dining room. We are just a minute's stroll to boutiques, banks, post office, cafes, restaurants and pubs in the popular Hoole region of Chester and ten mins wander to the very heart of Historic Chester and the Railway Station. The town is packed out with things to do and see with such amazing sights as the Cathedral, the Rows - two-tier shopping galleries which date from the Middle Ages, the Roman Walls and Amphitheatre and the 2nd most photographed clock in Britain after Big Ben - The Eastgate Clock. A stroll via the Grosvenor Park will take you to the River Dee offering relaxing vistas and boat trips. Every year Chester hosts the oldest running Horse Race in England, Chester Races, on the “Roodee” with the 1st recorded race held on February 9, 1539 with the consent of the Lord Mayor Henry Gee, whose name led to the use of the term "gee-gee" for horses. You don't need to travel far from the center of the city to find other main sights such as Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village.
