Carrbridge can be easily reached by either highway or rail being approx seven miles from Aviemore, 9 miles from Grantown-on-Spey and a short ½ hour drive from the City of Inverness, the capital of the highlands. The railway station is located approx 400 meters away from us and the countryside center is only a 10 min stroll away. If you’re planning a short soothing break or a fun packed vacation there’s something for every person on your door. Located only a short stroll away the Landmark Forest Adventure Park proposes thrills and spills for the young and antique alike, whilst our local forests accessed directly from our back gate propose short idyllic strolls. Carrbridge also hosts a good 9 golf course in addition to the Carrbridge Pony Trekking center and guided mountain bike treks. Also held in Carrbridge each year is the globally great World Porridge Making Championship Competition and Carve Carrbridge - a chainsaw carving competition.
