Transportation

Eight miles on pick up the A2 Dover to Canterbury highway and then the Wincheap turn-off as above. From London to Canterbury: Take the M2 to blend seven, where the highway ends and the highway splits into the A2 (left hand lane) and the A249 (right hand lane). Keep to the left hand lane then take the fourth exit at the roundabout, direction Canterbury. Some 8 miles on, a slip highway to the left takes you to Canterbury. Cross over the 1st roundabout and turn directly at the next 2 roundabouts. The 2nd will bring you under the railroad bridge, the Thanington Hotel is a further 400 yards along, on the right-hand side.
