General Information

Madingley Hall is a University owned estate embedded in seven acres of fine panoramic gardens, three miles west of Cambridge. The Hall features free access from the M11, the A14 from the North and East, and the A428 from the West, with beautiful links to the 3 London Airports and spacious free parking zone on place. The Hall is regularly used for educational and coaching occasions and features 61 adjacent bedrooms (13 twin and 48 single) which are hospitable, well furnished and have park vistas. Every room is equipped with a digital tv, independent broadband I-net, straight dial telephone, tea/coffee making amenities and a confidential secure. Although not an hotel, Madingley Hall proposes quality campus lodging, 24 hour reception desk, a Bar, a confidential facilities and a full choice of English or nutritious breakfas catered in our historic Dining Hall.


Transportation

From THE NORTH: A1 and Huntingdon. The officially signposted route involves a few difficult junctions. We advise instead that you leave the A14 for Dry Drayton, just after Bar Hill. In Dry Drayton turn left just before the church. At the T-junction in Madingley turn right. You'll pass The Three Horseshoes social cottage on the left. After 100 yards the Hall gates are on the right, opposite a left turn to Cambridge. From NEWMARKET and the East (A14). Leave the Cambridge northern by-pass on the slip-road leading to the M11A1307A14 - signed Huntingdon. Keep direct on and once round the left hand bend move to the right hand lane - signposted The Midlands (The North), Huntingdon A14. Immediately after re-joining the A14 fork left for Madingley Village (signed Madingley 1. five miles). Pass The Three Horseshoes social cottage on the left. After 100 yards you'll find the Hall gates on the right, opposite a left turn to Cambridge. From THE SOUTH (M11). Leave the M11 at Junction 13 signed Bedford and Cambridge (A428A1303). Turn left towards Bedford (A428). 250 yards on turn right to Madingley. In only over a mile you arrive to a T-junction with the Hall gates in facade of you. From THE WEST (A428). After the Dry Drayton-Hardwick roundabout the single carriageway becomes a dual carriageway. Half a mile on take the slip highway on the left signed Cambridge and Madingley. At the roundabout turn left for Madingley. The Hall gates are on the left, in front of the highway signposted for Cambridge. The turn into the drive is sharp.
