Welcome to The Plough InnThe Plough Inn is situated in the countryside of Icklingham on the 1101 in the pretty Suffolk village 10m from Bury St Edmunds, 12m from Newmarket, 8m from Thetford, 4m from Mildenhall. West Stow Saxon countryside is only 1m away. We are in the East Anglian Daily Times magazine, 50 widely-known places to eat out in the shire. The Plough Inn is part of the lord Iveagh Estate. The estate rebuilt the pub in 2004, extending the restaurant to 50 covers. All our food is cooked on the property by the host Rocke, using as much local make as possible. Facade of cottage is Sue the landlady and restaurant and apartments manager Carlton, helped by an excellent team of personnel, who have been with us from the re-opening in 2004. Your room is equipped all the amenities to produce your visit at The Plough as easy as possible with remote control showers, LCD-DVD tv, self-sufficient broadband access, trouser press, phone, apartment secure, mini-bar, teacoffee. We also sell papers. If your objective is a vacation, a special reason or work, you are able to be secured of a sincere welcome at The Plough.
