The Oaks Hotel is situated just one mile from combination 12 of the M65. The perfect location provides wonderful links with the history and beauty which can be found mins away in the Pennine village. The positioning also provides nice links with surrounding towns such as Manchester and Preston. Surrounding park amusements comprise: Queen Street Mill and Textile Museum (3. two kms / two miles) - steam powered weaving is brought to life here at Lancashire's last 19th century steam powered weaving mill - packed full of sights, sounds and smells to stimulate the senses. Gawthorpe Hall (11 kms / seven miles) - this early 17th century manor house houses collections of historical and up-to-date textiles and needlework from a range of global cultures. Haworth Art Gallery (18 kms / 11 miles) - the Tudor-style Edwardian cottage is an attraction in itself, yet it's also home to a range of 'Favrile' vases, tiles and mosaics from the world widely-known New York Studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

By auto: From the M65: - Exit the M65 onto the A682 by means of mix 12 for Nelson and Brierfield. - At the end of the slip highway, take the 3rd exit to staying on the A682. - Bear left at the first traffic circle onto Churchill Way. - At the Manchester Road traffic circle, take the second exit onto Colne Road. - Continue on the A682 through to Burnley Road. - Turn left onto Reedley Road. Parking: Free parking zone is available on place at the hotel.
