General Information

Ancient Stationhouse proposes an idle, festive and quiet site to visit, an simple 10 min amble from the a lot of boutiques, pubs and restaurants in the gorgeous Cotswold countryside of Broadway. The cottage was constructed in the early 1900s and was authentically the home of the station master for Broadway train station. The line features gone, but the track bed remains as a refuge for wildlife and a fashionable path for walkers. Ancient Stationhouse features an enchanting park, sunny veranda and a soothing visitor hall with an open fire. Clients are amicable invited to enjoy them all. All of our rooms are adjacent and in addition to the usuals (TV, hairdryer, kettle etc), every room is equipped with its own minifridge. Antique Stationhouse is not certificated but why not bring your own and enjoy a chilled glass of wine before eating out in Broadway, or simply use it for the fresh milk we'll happily supply for your tea and coffee. Breakfasts are plentiful and varied and we use local and independent collection ingredients wherever possible. Choose a full English or a wimpy lighter option. Walkers and cyclists are greatly welcome and drying amenities are accessible for visitor use. There is a lot of parking zone for autos and a locked garage for those on 2 wheels. I-net access and wifi availableBroadway is a generous base for hiking the region, being only 25 min from Cheltenham and Shakespeare's Stratford and is also on the Cotswold Way.


Transportation

How to find usBy highway - Old Stationhouse is off Station Road which is an extension of Broadway High Street. Drive via the countryside and we are up a lane on the right, immediately before the railroad bridge (opposite the Caravan Site). Broadway is 20 mins from Junction 9 of the M5 or twenty five minutes from Stratford, Worcester or Cheltenham, an hour from Oxford (A44) and two hours from London. By train - the nearest stations are Evesham or Moreton-in-Marsh. To reach Old Stationhouse you are able to take a cab or, whether you let us know in time, we able to probably pick you up. On foot - the Cotswold Way crosses the high avenue at the eastern end of the countryside. We're at the west end, so you receive the bonus of strolling through Broadway countryside. Stroll as far as the railroad bridge and we're on the right.
