The Weary Ploughman Inn was indigenously constructed as a railway hotel in the 1890s and sits alongside the Paignton to Kingswear Steam Railway station at Churston. From Kingswear it is just a ferry ride across the river to Dartmouth. We are several mins stroll away from the Churston Golf Club, with Brixham Harbour only 2 and a quarter miles away. "Greenway House" Agatha Christie's vacation home on the banks of the River Dart has just been reconstructed by the National Trust and is just 2 miles away.
