Welcome to The Downs Hotel, encircled by the idyllic South Downs village, in Woodingdean. The historic countryside of Rottingdean and the coast are surrounding. We are proud of ourselves in offering you immaculately bright, refined and cosy suites, with a wonderful value restaurant, Sunday carvery, and a fine conventional pub. You couldn't ask for a better serene location. We are just two. five miles from Brighton city center - the bus stops right outside the guesthouse - and we are just two miles to the coast. We are within a short distance of the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Pier, Sea Life Centre and, being situated on the South Downs, also makes the tranquil location perfect for strolling & cycling. The guesthouse is also close to the University, Nuffield Hospital and Brighton Racecourse. The sumptuous conventional pub features a ale park, and furthermore proposes weekend live amusement. We have ample self-sufficient car parking. A full English Breakfast is included.
