Arties Mill is a fascinating ancient windmill originaly built circa 1790. The Mill is situated 1 mile (1. seven km) from the city of Brigg which has a showy heritage of markets and fairs. Brigg 1st grew as a crossing point on the river Ancholme taking its name from the bridge constructed to produce east-west journeys easier. Sadly, its sails have been dismantled but the mill proprietors have protected plenty of enchanting properties of the ancient building.
