Today the property contains much of its original character and yet proposes all of the contemporary conveniences you'd expect from a hotel in the 21st century. Our 14 visitor bedrooms are all en-suite and have straight dial telephones with modem ports for the busy work traveller. The Old Vicarage is a non-smoking establishment. On-site parking is also accessible. In Bridgwater city there are several pretty restaurants, pubs and many shopping. Although we operate on a mainly bed and breakfast basis. Our cafeteria is open 6 days a month from ten: 30am to 5pm and 6: 30pm to 9pm for dwellers. Bridgwater is ideally located close to fusion 23 & 24 of the M5 motorway which is perfect for those hiking on work. The city is also central to all of Summersets’ most celebrated park amusements such as Wells cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Exmoor National Park, Dunster palace and much much more. Chestnut House was initially the countryside farmhouse, dating back in part to the mid-1500s. 8 years ago the property was fully renewed to a high standard. Today, we are glad of our Five Star property, with Tourist Board Silver Award. With seven fully-appointed double en apartment bedrooms (two with access from outside the major building), we purpose to propose only the extremely ultimate in fashion and personal facilities.
