Welcome to The George Hotel, a little cozy three star hotel located in the centre of the countryside of Braunton, with ample and simple car parking in our own controlled car parking, situated in front of the guesthouse. The bars are busy with locals and afford our dear guests the chance to blend with, and receive a flavour, of North Devon life. The site has just been tenderly restored to become the ideal proximity for all events and we are open all year round. Snack time and dinner menus are accessible and now comprise a Thai carte menu. The guesthouse is also on the bus route with regular local bus services to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay in addition to a National Express stop. Braunton is superbly located in North Devon for both work and for pleasure/sporting pursuits. Being within simple get to (4 miles) of Barnstaple, the regional city center and further our attractive beaches illustrious for surfing, wild and astonishing Exmoor, shining Devon country and championship courses in golf, the unbelievable sand dunes of Braunton Burrows and historic Braunton Great Field.
