General Information

Barn House BandB, just 5 miles east of Bath in the Wiltshire village, proposes lodging embedded in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Quietly nestled in small rustic hamlet of Middlehill, Barn House is completely situated for exploration the distinguished town of Bath, in addition to getting away from it all and enjoying the nearby village. Built from natural stone, it's a single story building dating from 19th Century, 1st converted from a farm building to a dwelling in 1910. It's embedded in a 2 acre plot with comely terraces and sitting out regions and attractive views of the locality. It's not extraordinary to place woodpeckers, deer, foxes, bunnies, pheasants and buzzards - the badgers are less likely to be seen but we know they are there! Barn House BandB proposes single storey lodging, with just the odd step to negotiate. Our apartments have been purposed to provide maximum flexibility and the commodious apartments can provide for couples or families. We have one en-suite suite and the choice of 2 other ample rooms with either privately-owned or shared bathroom. Full English and Continental breakfasts are catered in our farmhouse kitchen, with the Aga to keep you warm in the winter months. Barn House also proposes self catering lodging for up to 6 persons in 2 bedrooms, with a completely fitted, eat-in kitchen and privately-owned access. Bookings able to be made for three to seven day breaks. Longer stays able to be negotiated.

Transportation

From the countryside of Box travel east on the A4 towards Bath. After half a mile and passing The Northey social cottage, take the following right signposted ColerneDitteridgeMiddlehill. At the following blend take the sharp left signposted AlcombeShockerwick. Continue on this lane for 500m till you uncover a highway narrows sign; Barn House is on the right side of the highway.
