A short meander to the Lake or to Biskey Howe viewpoint, in the center of the gorgeous Lake District. Transportation

From M6 fusion 36, follow A591 to Windermere. Turn down the hill through Windermere, towards the Lake and Bowness. Biskey Howe Road is 2nd on the left past the Police station, Elim Lodge is directly on the left, with car parking to the side. Trains and National Express coaches both stop at Windermere, then cab or twenty five minutes stroll.
