Oaklands is located in a leafy serene location with privately-owned off highway car parking on the edge of the beauteous city of Bovey Tracey which is commonly known as "The gateway to the moor". A beautiful peaceful location for somewhere to unwind and relax or to example the plenty of adventures of investigating South Devon's shining rural area and less than twenty five minutes away from the beach. Bovey Tracey is one of the major gateway cities to Dartmoor, with several peculiar guest sights and a peerless blend of boutiques. A lively cob and Dartmoor-granite built city, located on the River Bovey it's home to the internationally outstanding Devon Guild of Craftsmen, based in a 19th century water mill on the river. Other local sights comprise the House of Marbles glass blowing and guest center, the Craft Centre and the National Trust’s Parke Estate.
