General Information

This attractive Georgian cottage is located in quiet surroundings on the edge of the charming village of Boscastle, with flower strewn old farming 'stitches' and the superb south west beach path literally on the doorstep. Boscastle haven is a short amble away. The cottage has just been refurbished to the most high standards and proposes well proportioned and ample apartments with period has. The suites have been discretely furnished in an eclectic fashion that mixes the old and the current with pieces of original art to provide an uncluttered and harmonious feel. The accompanying adjacent bathrooms are sumptuous. Has of the apartments comprise: super-king size beds, egyptian cotton linen and towels, cosy armchairs, flat-screen television and dvd, Wi-Fi, luxury toiletries from St Kitts Herbery and cordiality tray with a choice of teas, ground coffee, fresh milk and home-made biscuits. Clients also have use of the refined diningsitting suite, greenhouse and park, and may come and go as they wish during the day. Wherever possible, locally sourced, organic and fair trade make is used in the cooking and baking. The cottage also features an honesty brasserie, and there is a peerless variety of restaurants and bars within short distance. On-site parking zone is available along with storage for surf boards etc and drying service for wet walkers.


Transportation

By auto: From the M5 at Exeter, take the Okehampton exit (A30) at mix 31, and continue on this highway past Launceston. Turn off at the exit marked Kennards House (A395) towards North Cornwall, Wadebridge, Camelford and Bude. Go via the countryside of Pipers Pool and past the Wilsey Down social cottage at Hallworthy. Continue on the A395 till you get to the T mix. Turn left onto the A39 towards Wadebridge. Take the right turn to Boscastle (B3314) and and drive through Slaughterbridge. On reaching a crossroads, turn right towards Boscastle (B3266). When you get to Boscastle, pass the petrol station on your left, and bear left onto the B3263 towards Tintagel. After about 500 yards turn right into Green Lane. Follow the lane round and, after the sharp right turn, the Old Parsonage is the third property on the right. Whether you're coming from Boscastle harbor, take the Tintagel highway (B3263) across the bridge and up the steep hill. Close to the upper, you'll discover a petrol station on the opposite side of the highway. Follow the highway round to the right, towards Tintagel. After about 500 yards turn right into Green Lane. Follow the lane round and, after the sharp right turn, the Old Parsonage is the third property on the right.
