The Langton Arms, a charming seventeenth centuty thatched inn, resides an idyllic site in the very heart of Tarrant Monkton neighboring to the church. Tarrant Monkton is a little thatched Dorset hamlet nestling in the Tarrant Valley, encircled by some of the plurality astonishing village in England, which features changed small since it was immortalised in the novels of Thomas Hardy at the turn of the century. The Langton Arms is a self-sufficient cottage run with authentic attention and proposes a firstrate selection of drinks, including an ever-changing supply of widely-known genuine ales. We cater food all day at holidays, in the facade brasserie, from 11. 30am to ten. 00pm on Saturdays and 12. 00pm to 9. 00pm on Sundays. We have ten visitor apartments including Taddlestones Cottage. There are six visitor apartments built in rural brick around an adorable patio. Plus 4 suites in the gorgeous neighbouring house, Taddlestones. Our apartments are decorated to a high standard and have full en apartment bathrooms, color televisions and teacoffee making service. You may specify at the time of booking if you require a twin, double or family apartment. Transportation

From WIMBORNE - Take the B3082 towards Blandford. Drive through Badbury rings. When you get to Tarrant Keyneston turn right at The True Lovers Knot. Follow this state highway till you get to Tarrant Monkton (approx three miles). Take the 1st left into the countryside, go over the bridge and follow highway round via the countryside, you'll The Langton Arms infront of you. From BLANDFORD - Take the A354 towards Salisbury. Follow this highway till you get to Tarrant Hinton. Turn right and proceed through Tarrant Launceston to Tarrant Monkton. Go via the ford and bear left, following the round till you see The Langton Arms infront of you. In winter months the ford may be too deep to drive through safely,
