General Information

The Alumhurst is a long established, Award winning, city center, family run, two Star Visit Britain Hotel. We have been established for 40 years in 2011 and we are waiting for this milestone with joy. We are right in the middle of Britains favourite resort at the foot of the Promenade, the world well-known Tower, the Winter Gardens Ballrooms and Theatre complex, the Grand Theatre, our fine recent mall center and all the city center night clubs and pubs. We take pride in offering you spotlessly clear suites for 1, two, three or four visitors. All are en room with privately-owned shower apartments, TV with 12 Channel Freeview, Tea & Coffee amenities, cozy beds and the ability to come and go as you please. We also have a little elevator that takes the hard business out of getting yourself and your luggage to your bedroom. Our cook takes joy in offering you nourishing, well cooked breakfasts and suppers in our breakfast room, using local make where possible, and coping with particular dietary needs is no problem to them. Our recently refurbished brasserie is open each evening and stocks a big variety of drinks, both alcoholic and soft. For your entertainment there is a swimming pool desk, music heart, dart board, quiz machine and 1 armed bandit. We invite kids in the brasserie and there are some toys for them. We have limited car park outside and these spots, whether accessible, able to be reserved with your suite. We provide discounts to Seniors in June and August. Coach parties are welcome, discounts and self-sufficient places are possible on 30 clients or more. We do not accommodate all male groups and only welcome well behaved Hen Parties.
