We have five en-suite apartments accessible for Bed & Breakfast lodging. All have been converted from the original farm buildings with fastidious care to detail whilst retaining as much of the original character of the buildings as possible. All the units are enriched to an highly high standard and brag feather down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. The property are ancient stone buildings which formed part of the original farm steading. One was a smiddy, one a cow byre and the cart shed features been split into 2 units. The fifth was formerly a garage and is slightly smaller than the others but brags a pleasing vista of the sea. One of the cart sheds features been especially built to suit persons with accessibility requirements but they are all on the 1st floor and there is an access ramp to the Dining Room in the farmhouse where breakfasts are catered. Fenham Farm is situated within the North Northumberland waterside region of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the tidal spot of Lindisfarne. For the birdwatcher and lover of nature, this area offers a special occasion to see and receive near some of the country’s rarest animals. In the autumn months, the sand flats that are exposed at low tide become a large feeding ground for geese and waders from around the world. Northumberland is a land of contrasts, from the sandy beaches and rugged cliffs of the beach to the high wilderness of the Cheviot Hills, you could surely say it's a area with really something for every person. For a more cosmopolitan day out with more boutiques, museums and culture, take a visit to either Edinburgh or the bustling town of Newcastle upon Tyne – all around an hour away and sure to comply with the majority ardent of shopaholic!
