We invite you to our home in Northumberland, the majority restful shire in England. Belford is in the north of the shire where you're a small walking distance from the coastline, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In this place you will find Bamburgh Castle, voted one of Britain’s finest vistas, in addition to Dunstanburgh Castle, Warkworth Castle and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Off shore are the Farne Islands, home to the biggest grey seal colony in Britain and to over 20 species of breeding sea birds. 15 miles south is the market place city of Alnwick, well known for its Castle and Garden. 15 miles north is Berwick upon Tweed, the unmatched city in Northern Europe with the whole Elizabethan Walls and Ramparts. Also on our doorstep we have the Cheviot Hills, the Northumberland National Park, Cragside House and Gardens - to mention just several of the fantastic places to stay. Our holiday hotel features 3 en-suite bedrooms, one twin and 2 double suites, one of which is situated on the first floor. The capacious apartments are well equipped with cozy seating, TV / DVD, radio alarm, hairdryer and a well stocked cordiality tray. You'll find a lot of additional touches to assist you take pleasure in your stay. All 3 en-suites are fitted with showers but for those customers who need to dip their weary bones after a long stroll or cycle we have a seperate bathroom accessible. There is a visitor hall which is good for relaxing in at any time of the day and where you can find books, magazines, maps and guides to look through. There is a TV, DVD, Video player and a choice of toys, which may be borrowed while you are staying. Wi-fi i-net amenities are attainable in most parts of the cottage.
