Henrietta Street, on which The Redcar Hotel stands, was planned between 1788 and 1792 by Sir William Pulteney and named after his daughter Henrietta Laura Pulteney. 3 Georgian city houses were 1st converted into a Hotel in 1949. As the property in the golden location, it was later sold to an organization owned by the outstanding entertainers Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck, who then spent a extensive amount of money extending and developing this marvellous hotel. Leave m4 at Junction 18 for a46. Take a4. Follow signs for Bath. Along London Road, left onto Cleveland Place-Henrietta Road, go over the bridge and take second turning on the right - Henrietta Road becomes Henrietta Street.
