General Information

This is a locality famous for its hunting, fishing, shooting and is rather popular with ramblers and cyclists. The Exmoor National Park is only 6 miles away and the lovely beaches of North and South Devon is a 40 minute drive. With its cozy sofas and hospitable log fires The Quarrymans Rest is a fine spot to stay. Serving classical and pioneering pub food, marvellous wines and authentic ales all at good prices. On Sundays our Carvery is hugely popular using local meats from Hills farm and Westons farm. With Donna overseeing the facade of cottage, the spirit is relaxed and friendly. Well maintained true beer on the hand pumps in addition to a weekly visitor beer and a keen selection of wines from around the world to suit all tastes. She will happily open a bottle from the full wine catalogue whether you fancy a glass of something a small more unique. Paul features a passion for the use of local food and creates some authentic pub classics to some more elaborate restaurant dishes all of which able to be delighted either in the brasserie or in our cosy restaurant. We have three outstanding double suites for bed & breakfast all are en-suite with flat screen televisions, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee amenities.
