General Information

Built of local granite in 1886, the cottage was named after a steamship by its Purser when he retired from the sea. There is a halcyon hall and breakfast room facing the facade flower park and lawn for visitors to enjoy. Situated in Ballater, Aberdeenshire. Ballater features changed greatly small since Queen Victoria regularly spent so much time in her favourite palace at Balmoral.

The countryside is ideally located for strolling in the Cairngorm Mountains, an idyllic drive around the Castle Trail, or a trip to Lochnagar Distillery or the Whisky trail behind. Ballater Golf Club is within simple distance and renowned courses at Carnoustie and St. Andrews are only a panoramic drive from the guesthouse. The inn is located 64. three kilometers west of Aberdeen on the A93. The guesthouse is on the Braemar highway 228 meters from the treveller office on the right hand side. A sign is evident under the 3 in the park. There are a choice of suites, all wonderful quality, with tea and coffee, video and satellite television, and all are non-smoking. Most apartments have king size beds, but all have en-suite amenities and are tastefully furnished.
