General Information

A old-fashioned country house in a magic setting. Encircled by 75 acres of pretty Kentish village, Elvey Farm is the ideal hideaway from the up-to-date world. It is at the end of a winding lane, with ravishing vistas over the fields. The farm features been here since 1406, and is packed full of period has. But this is no ordinary farmyard. Expect the greatly latest in lodging, with nicely appointed suites and existing bathrooms. Rooms in the Stable Block have their own privately-owned entrances and most have living suites - all suites are adjacent. Spend the day investigating the bridleways and strolls around the farm, and a island of snack in one of the a lot of countryside pubs. Why not bring your dog? There's a lot of space for them to run around. Then watch the sun set on the verandah, with a glass of champagne and only the sheep for company. In the evening, have dinner in our restaurant in the 16th century barn, and chat to other visitors in our brasserie, before a rural night's sleep under antique beams. Then in the morning, enjoy a brand-new local breakfast with sausage and bacon from the countryside, and eggs from our own hens. Plus tea and coffee from Pluckley's highly own Coffee Company. Pluckley was chosen as the peaceful location for ITV's Darling Buds of May, and it is simple to taste why. The countryside hasn't changed a jot in centuries. Wherever you look, there are Oast Houses, orchards, hop terraces and fields. It is exactly as Pa Larkin left it - and just an hour from London. Elvey Farm combines rural beauty with shop living - it is silent, it is breathtakingly nice - and you will find the facilities is 2nd to none. Our meat is from local farms, our fruit and vegetables are from our own terraces when in season, and our eggs are from our own hens. Elvey Farm features been run by locals for centuries. That's why we say it is Kentish to the Core.
