General Information

Gages Mill is a Grade two listed fourteenth century former Wool Mill located at the Southern Gateway to the Dartmoor National Park, one mile from the very heart of the antique Stannary Town of Ashburton and only mins from the A38. Gages Mill stands in over an acre of elite mature terraces encircled by trees and farmland, and features ample visitor parking places. The structure features been thoroughly converted to retain its original character, while offering each up-to-date comfort. All seven visitor bedrooms are en-suite and have open village vistas. Plymouth and Exeter City Centres are within twenty five minutes and the beach able to also be reached twenty five minutes. Dartmoor National Park is within half a mile of Gages Mill. Our Guest TV Lounge features a wonderfully cozy feel with cozy seating, original granite walls and a genuine flame hearth. A Granite arch leads through to the breakfast room which features a supplemental seating region. Breakfast is catered in the breakfast room where you are able to assist yourself to Cereals, Fruit Juices and graceful Fruit before we cater you tea or savoury coffee and a full English breakfast with all food locally sourced. Vegetarian choices are also offered. We also have a licensed pub. Visitor bedrooms have been elegantly adorned with their own individual colours and furniture and accessories. All apartments are en-suite and have open village vistas. In all bedrooms you'll find tea & facilities of making coffee, hair-dryers and digital alarm clock radio’s. All bedrooms are centrally heated.
