Recent Moor House is a 200 year ancient Georgian former training inn nestling in the middle of incredible village at the crossroads of the antique drove highway (the B6341), once used to take sheep from the Cheviot mountains to market place in Alnwick, and the A697. We are located within a short distance of both the Heritage Coastline and the Cheviots and appropriately situated between the old and captivating market place cities of Alnwick (7 miles) and Rothbury (4 miles), both with numerous boutiques, pubs and restaurants. Encircled by sweeping moorland with scenic vistas to Coe Crag, Hedgehope and Cheviot, this is perfect strolling state. The highways in either direction lead across open moorland, offering hilltop and woods strolls and several vantage points from which one able to take in the sumptuous landscape and spectacular views. Briar and Rose cottages both have 4 placard beds and log burning stoves and propose the perfect romantic escape for couples. "Hay holts" with soundproofed interconnecting doorways allow both cottages to be shared by a group of four people while tranquil maintaining solitude.
