General Information
Located approximately six miles from the beach, between Alford and Louth, our vacation lodging includes 2 Cottages and 4 Log Cabins. One mile from the very heart of the countryside, the Cottages are on the privy highway leading to Park Farm. They are encircled by a locality of grass and are neighboring to approximately 3 acres of woods where the Log Cabins are located. Boston and Grimsby are approximately forty min drive away and Lincoln a small more. Boston and Lincoln are both of substantial interest to travellers. Our Log Cabins are of timber construction and purposed to capture the spirit of the vicinity. You do not have to gather damp forest to produce a fire before you eat. (If you wish you are able to burn your meat over glowing charcoal. ) They are purposed to look as natural as possible in a forests setting. That is why we are keeping the array down to 4. Garden Farm Cottages are a couple of semi-detached cottages, which are no longer required for farm workers. Like the Cabins, they are double glazed and centrally heated. They have 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, and 2 with a single in every, all with blankets, not duvets. There is a bathroom upstairs. The lounges have a settee and simple chairs, coffee tables and tv, and a dining desk and chairs in a corner. The kitchens have fitted units, electric cookers microwaves and toasters, and a desk and chairs. The fridge is in the pantry. There are some thirty miles of sandy beaches around Lincolnshire, from Cleethorpes in the north through Donna Nook, where the sea may be too far out to taste and mirages abound on hot days. The coast continues through Sutton on Sea, Huttoft Bank and Anderby Creek, where it's possible to spend an unspoiled day, all very tranquil up to Chapel St Leonards, where it gets more commercialised, through Ingoldmells and Skegness.
