The Richmond Hotel, set on the major Georgian prom at the very heart of the historic city of Aberystwyth. The Richmond Hotel has been a family run hotel for over 30 years. In that time we have delighted greeting a lot of recent customers and hospitable back plenty of regulars. The hotel was primarily built as 2 city houses for prosperous merchants and, in partnership with the Wales Tourist Board, Ceredigion County Council and Cadw, we have lately completed an overhaul of the hotel frontage to restore it to its original Georgian splendour. We run the hotel with conventional values but are geared up for the 21st century, with all the contemporary service that our customers would expect. We know that the success of this hotel has come approximately due to the support of all our past visitors and look forward to hospitable recent and existing guests in the future. The hotel has a cosy hall with its own brasserie where visitors can enjoy a panoramic vista of Cardigan Bay. It provides a relaxing retreat in a warm, hospitable and fine ambiance. We have all our Bedrooms as Non-smoking apartments. Please note that our bedrooms have either a bath or a shower and NOT both. Please indicate whether you have a preference so that we can try and match a suite to your requirements. The hotel does not have a elevator so please advise whether a suite on the 1st or 2nd floor is required, prior to making a reservation.
