Located on the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park, we are perfectly situated to seize the opportunity of all the region can offer, if you are searching for firstrate food, an afternoon with friends in the sun, or a short activity break. We have ten en apartment visitor bedrooms varying from well appointed doubles and twins to larger family apartments that able to sleep up to four. Every room is fitted with a plasma screen TV, and other amenities including play stations, DVD players and tea/coffee making service. We have four bedrooms in our major building which have famous vistas of the nearby country and are named after the mountains and hills visable from the windows. The stables have 6 bedrooms all on one level with an adapted bedroom with additional service for wheelchair use.

Transportation

Abergavenny sits on the South-East edge of the Brecon Beacons. By train there is a mainline train station, just south of the city, coming from London and Cardiff by means of Newport, and the North by means of Hereford. It is less than a 5 minute stroll. But with luggage, book a cab to collect you. We advise the reliable...Sheila's Taxis, 01873 857954. There is a famous net of highways to Abergavenny. You receive here from the Midlands by means of Ross-on-Wye on the M50 or from London and the East, through the Severn bridges, on the M4. Leave the M4 at combination 24, and go North on the A449 up to Raglan, and then West on the A40 to Abergavenny. You will approach Abergavenny on the A4042 from the South, the A465 from the West and North, or the A40 from the East. These highways meet at a roundabout just south of the city. Take the A40 signposted to Abergavenny. Shortly after the roundabout, Plas Derwen is located approximately 100 yards up on the right hand side.
