The Design hotel L First is a highly recent design hotel located in an deluxe 19th century cottage in a peaceful and fascinating part of the city, and yet very at the foot of the city-center and the lake of Zurich. The building was cautiously re-equipped by the widely-known architect Pia Schmid and is a specific fusion of passed century ambience, powerfull colors and uncommon materials. The dynamic woman and the present-day man will find in the hotel places to feel cosy and relaxed; in our 28 well appointed apartments, by the hearth in the hall or in the rose park.
Travel information
By airplane / train: There are regular straight train connections from the airport to train station Zürich (takes approximately 12 minutes). At the railway station stroll towards station "Bahnhofbrücke". Take the tram number four towards Tiefenbrunnen for 8 stops. Exit at "Feldeggstraße". Stroll back and take the 1st left turn onto Mainaustraße. The hotel is situated on the left side (number 24). By cab: Taxi journey from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 25 mins. By auto: - Drive towards Bellevue fahren onto Bellerivestraße along the lake. - Pass the opera cottage and turn left onto Kreuzstraße. - Take the 1st right turn onto Dufourstrasse that leads to Mainaustraße (4th st on the right). The hotel is situated there. We do not have a hotel auto garden and recommend to leave your auto in one of the auto gardens surrounding. The auto garden Utoquai is situated on Färberstraße and can be reaches by means of Dufourstraße whether you turn right. Please note that you can’t turn from Bellerivestraße directly to Mainaustraße.
