The Hotel Saanerhof in Saanen outstanding its 1st centenary in 2005. It was one of the 1st hotels in the Saanenland, building business commenced even before the arrival of the train in 1904. The establishment opened its doors on August first 1905 and was the 1st hotel with electric light throughout. It has also been run by the same family for the past 70 years. The restaurant serves a wide range of food, including local peculiarities and is a favourite with both locals and clients. In summer you are able to have coffee, a drink or even a little lunch in the shade of the trees on the park verandah.

All rooms in the hotel have bath, shower/WC, radio, phone and TV with international programs.

The restaurant has a rural styled inside and serves seasonally varied cuisine. A vegetarian selection is accessible upon demand.
