The Hotel Saanerhof in Saanen well-known its 1st centenary in 2005. It was one of the 1st hotels in the Saanenland as building business commenced even before the arrival of the train in 1904. The establishment opened its doors on August first 1905 and was the 1st hotel with electric light troughout. Peter Matti acquired the hotel in 1936. His daughter, Susanne Matti, and her husband Jürg Neuenschwander took over the reins in 1979. Read more...
