Arriving by train, or on foot from the Swiss (SBB) or French (SNCF) train stations: When leaving the station via the major entry, cross the boulevard and stroll approximately 50 m to the left. Stroll down Kuchengasse and turn left at the end of the st. Continue along the Heuwaage viaduct and cross the footbridge at the end of it; then turn left and stroll approximately 50 m to Hotel Steinenschanze. It's a 10-minute stroll. Taking the bus to this hotel from the Swiss (SBB) or French (SNCF) train stations: Go to the bus stop across the avenue from the station and take the no. 30 bus to the following stop. From there it is only several steps to Hotel Steinenschanze.
