The hotel and restaurant were initially built in 1909 as a work and residence building with boutiques and suites. In 1929, a recently founded cooperative responsible for urban parlors and houses purchased the whole realty, converted it and named it Orelli cottage - after the founder of the Zurich Women's Club, Dr. h.c. Susanna Orelli (1845 - 1939) who had laid the cornerstone for this wealthy enterprise.

All of our 37 apartments were freshly re-equipped in spring 2006 and are furnished with writing desks, cable TV (flat screen), straight dialing and safe. The bathrooms are furnished with showers and bath tubs/toilet and hair dryers.

The restaurant Orelli was named after the founder of the ZFV group and convinces with easy elegance, a thrilling vista and conventional Swiss cuisine with contemporary variations. It's greatly indispensable to us to prepare our culinary delicacies with local and fresh products. The Old India Bar - where Thomas Mann is known to have delighted his tea - invites you to an refined glass of wine, a fruity cocktail or one of the best espresso of Arosa in a modish ambience. For a lunch in-between, we propose delicacies such as crostinis, fried king prawns or our legendary club sandwich. Enjoy several hours alone, as a twosome or with friends in a cosy ambiance!

At least three days prior to arrival free. Later cancellations will be charged with 30% of the entire amount. In case of no show 100% of the entire amount will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
