History

The Hotel Casa Espana is situated on a privilege site in the historical and considerable midst of Villaviciosa, the structure is one of the majority emblematic buildings of Villaviciosa. The structure was formerly a chocolate factory and a pair of years later became a tin factory owned by D. Andres Miravalles Miranda, in 1921 the structure was demolish. Using the same stone from the demolished building D. Corripio Gonzalez built a Mansion de Indianos the modern structure is the original from that time. During these years the structure features catered various aims it was Casa de España, as the Town Council, a library and a nursery. It was in 1995 that the structure was completely reconstructed with the intention of becoming the Hotel Casa Espana.
