Location Information

Menorca forms part of the Balearic Islands off the eastern beach of Spain along with Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera. It's the northern and easternmost of all the islands and is the 2nd biggest after Mallorca.
The north of the island features a sheer coastline of prominent rocky cliffs plunging into the sea, whilst the south features a gentler scenery, characterized by spacious pine woodland that merge into prime white sandy beaches and coves of transparent waters.
In 1993 Menorca was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
