General Information

Hotel Claude is a little, individually owned, luxurious hotel in the center of Marbellas ancient town. This intimate and refined shop hotel lies within a 17th-century manor house townhouse characterized by a vivid and special stucco front. The townhouse, which used to be an artists club, features been softly and meticulously reconstructed. All architectural and original has of the cottage have been conserved, and a bright, present-day feel made. Hotel Claude has 7 apartments & suites located around the galleries of the major courtyard. Whilst all suites brag terracotta floors, sandstone baths and ultimate fabrics, they are every specific in their themes. Proud of a warm color palette and equipped with totally natural materials, they also feature vast princely beds with wonderful thread-count linen and high headboards, chaise lounges, sofas, flat screen TVs and iPod docks in all suites, giving the feeling of a homely home. All social spaces are cautiously considered with spiralling marble columns, carved wooden doors and handpicked furniture, featuring smart modern salons and a bijou fashion black and white restaurant.

Transportation

Exit the airport towards Cadiz on the N-340. Follow the highway towards Marbella and take the AP-7 toll highway towards Marbella and take exit 184 to enter Marbella. At the roundabout turn left to cross over the bridge. Go South. You will come to traffic fusion. Just drive direct ahead (down hill) till you can't receive any further. The highway (Avenida del Trapiche) gets more narrow once you cross over the traffic mix. Drive all the way down till you can't go anywhere but to the right. This boulevard is called Calle Cortijo. Then take the 1st avenue on your left called Avenida del Mercado. Drive downhill till you reach the 1st highway that crosses over Avenida del Mercado. In this place you turn left again onto Calle Salvador Rueda. The highway goes slightly up. On your right hand side you will see autos parked all the way up to the bus stop. You keep on going direct till you receive a small st on the right. This is Calle San Francisco (however there is no avenue sign with the name on it). You go down this avenue and take the 1st small boulevard to the right, Calle Leganitos. The streets now are extremely narrow. Keep going direct (on your right hand you will see the Guardia Civil building. Keep going direct till you can't go anywhere but to the left. Once you turn left, after several metres the st (still greatly narrow) goes down hill. You're now on Calle Aduar. Once you get to the end of the boulevard, you are able to only turn left. Turn left and follow that boulevard up the hill again. You will uncover a small church (Santo Cristo). Opposite the church there might be a eventuality to garden, whether there are no other autos. Whether there are autos, just garden briefly at the church so you are able to unload the luggage. We are on the left hand side of the church. You will see the reconstructed front.
