From the airport to the hotel: - Metro (EUR 1): take line 8 towards Nuevos Ministerios. At Colombia station change to line 9 till Avenida de América (estimated travel time: 20 minutes). - Bus: straight line from the airport to Colón, stopping in María de Molina close to Núñez de Balboa. From the hotel to the downtown: Metro (EUR 1): - Leaving the hotel take Núñez de Balboa avenue on the left, and continue direct ahead till the combination with Calle Juan Bravo, where you can find the Núñez de Balboa subway station. - Take underground line five towards Casa de Campo. You can reach off at either Gran Vía, Callao or Opera (they’re all in the historic centre). Bus (EUR 1): - In Calle Serrano, parallel to the hotel, you are able to take line 51 (final stop: Puerta del Sol). - Line 9 will take you to Plaza de Cibeles (very at the foot of the “Golden Art Triangle”: Prado Museum, Reina Sofía Museum and Thyssen-Bornemisza). - Tourist Bus “Madrid Visión”: receive off at Calle de Serrano.
