General Information

In 1996 the preceding manor (built 150 years ago) was stretched and was refurbished utterly in 1996. The opening took site in the end of 1996. The manor is located on an enchanted slope and all its apartments have a beautyful vista to the atlantic and to the vale. The manor owns 17 suites, a dining region, a small hall with TV and a balcony to have a bath in the sun. The manor is nicely decorated to a greatly high standard. La GomeraLa Gomera is the 2nd smallest spot of the Canaries with a climate that makes it feel like spring during all the year. Deep ravines descend in a starlike manner from its central peak, the Alto de Garajonay (1, 486 m), down to the beach all arouund the island giving it a dramatic scenery. La Gomeras origin, like other Canarian Islands, is volcanic and the island brags a surprising variety of vegetation including plenty of indigenous species due in part to its varying climate zones. Transportation

Coming from San Sebastian, the highway descends in a winding manner from 900 meters above the sea level via the countryside of Hermigua down to the sea. A small before the Atlantic beach the highway continues to Agulo. Hermigua is called greenish center of the Island as the agriculture carries on furthermore. 50% of Gomeras banana plantation is cultivated in this dale. Hermigua is a characteristic countryside of the Island thanks its small areas dispersed all over the vale. The countryside is divided into an top vale and a lower vale. The striking church Santo Domingo of the top valleywas built in 1515 and belonged to an old-time dominican monestary, whilst the lower valleys church Nuestra Senora de la Encarnacion was only built in 1920. On both places, young and ancient meet every other to have a chat or to celebrate together. The countryside center is grouped around around the town-hall with a little garden. There you find the postal office, a bank, a school, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a rent-a-car, etc. On a beautyful slope the manor Ibo Alfaro is located.
