General Information

Close to the mountains of the Sierra Espuña -one of the Spanish National Parks-, in the countryside of Gebas, we found the remains of an old-time grange.
La Casa del Estanco was indigenously also a sales outlet for tobacco and groceries; now we have converted the farm into a little state hotel.
Hospederia La Mariposa is an attractive base for short or long weekends, specifically for those persons who love unspoiled nature, backpacking and other fitness activities.
In a true Spanish ambiance you may enjoy all up-to-date facilities that will assure your comfort and, no doubt an unprecedented, beneficial peacefulness.
The apartments are built around a terrace; in this place you able to enjoy a Mediterranean meal with a fabulous view of the dale and the "Barrancos" of Gebas. You may also use the common hall, the whole with a little brasserie and hearth. Throughout the cottage you are to find a permanent exhibition of paintings.
Guests have access to our large garden from which they have an excellent vista of the dale. On one of the gardens there is a pool with a peculiar kids' playpool. Certainly there are both shade and sun gardens. The park and swimming pool are also wheelchair available.
There is a little gymnasium accessible, we hire mountain bikes and quad bikes, either guided or unguided, there are maps and guide books accessible for walkers and climbers.
A really magnificent place to visit if its relaxing or activity....no spot better!
