Onze Rust is a 4-star Guest House and Inspiration Centre that proposes a special experience in the center of the Stellenbosch wine lands. The historical buildings of Onze Rust occupy a lush indigenous park with abundant bird life, a natural spring and dams. It's the ideal setting for restoring your energy and vision. In keeping with the Dutch name of Onze Rust, which means our rest, the wish of owner and proprietor Ester Bezuidenhout is that you'll revive your inspiration in this quiet atmosphere. 2 visitor houses able to conveniently accommodate 20 persons in ten rooms and suites, which have privately-owned entrances. The detach Conference Centre caters for up to 20 persons. We will gladly organise airport transfers, a range of tours, or meals on demand, to ensure your comfort while you are staying at Onze Rust.

Transportation

Directions from Stellenbosch: Take the M12 Arterial direction to Kuils River and Cape Town Airport (also called Adam Tas Road which becomes the Polkadraai Road). Travel 9 kms out of city and turn left onto the Vlaeberg Road. (The Polkadraai Farm stall (on the right) able to be seen just before you turn left). Drive past the tennis court (on the left) and travel + one kilometers - turn right into Onze Rust. Directions from Somerset West and StrandTravel along the N2 road direction Cape Town. Turn right onto Baden Powell (Stellenbosch direction) on the R310. This is +- 12 kilometers after passing Somerset West. Travel 6 kilometres till Aspidistra Nursery (on the left). Turn left at Aspidistra onto Vlaeberg Road, cross the railroad line and continue another 3km. Turn left into Onze Rust. Directions from Cape TownTravel on the N2 road direction Somerset West. Pass the Airport turnoff and continue on the N2 for another 17 kms. Turn left onto Baden Powell Road (R310) direction StellenboschTravel 6 kilometres till Aspidistra Nursery on the left. Turn left at Aspidistra onto Vlaeberg Road, cross the railroad line and continue another 3km.
