Our outstanding Jan Cats restaurant serves wonderful local and foreign dishes, and our sidewalk tables are perfect for a pub snack or a visit with friends. We cater live crayfish, fresh oysters, a "catch of the day" and a choice of exotic game dishes. We also have an a la Carte menu with a diversity or items to choose from. Our wine list supports the local plantations of grapevines.

Directions TO THE STELLENBOSCH HOTEL FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: 1. Take the N2 road in the direction of Stellenbosch/Somerset West. two. Proceed on the N2 till Exit 33, (Stellenbosch/Baden Powell Drive turn off) turn left and continue on the R310 to the T-junction. three. At the T-junction turn right. After approx 2.5km, you'll get to a set of traffic lights. Continue direct over, passing Distell on the right. At the next set of traffic lights at the Shell Garage, turn right into Dorp Street. four. Continue through the next set of traffic lights, and past the 2 mini traffic circles (small flat circle in the road). After the 2nd circle turn into the 2nd left – Andringa Street. five. The Stellenbosch Hotel is located on the corner of Dorp and Andringa Street. Directions FROM N1: 1. Take Exit 47 (Stellenbosch) off the N1 two. Turn right onto the R44 and continue in the direction of Stellenbosch three. Once you get to Stellenbosch, proceed over the Bird Street intersection, till you get to the Dorp Street intersection at the traffic lights on the R44. four. Turn left into Dorp Street. five. Proceed up Dorp Street, till you pass the 2 mini traffic circles (small, flat circle on the road). After the 2nd circle turn into the 2nd left – Andringa Street.
