Fitness Winter activities Skiing - Jakubkova lúka (Jacob´s meadow) is situated 300m from this hotel. It's a skiing slope good for beginners, but for confirmed skiers as well. A railway funicular heading towards Hrebienok is located close to this site. From the end station of the funicular track, othe skiing lifts are leading toHorná lúka (Upper meadow), good for confirmed skiers. From Tatranská Lomnica (8km) you can reach to Skalnaté Pleso, from here ski downhill towards Tatranská Lomnica, or you are able to ski in the region of Lomnické Sedlo (Lomnica´s saddle). Surely each skier will be satisfied with the track of four, 8 kilometers. We give discounts for skipasses to our customersý! Cross-country skiing - You can put on your cross-country skiing equipping already 400m from us! Roomy scale of groomed trails waits for you! Whether you do not have your equipping with you, it does not matter. There are a few skiing rentals in the closeness. Skialpinism - in the time of major season we do propose also trails for this kind of fitness for registered skialpinists. A few valleys and challets are accesible also during the winter season. The Tatras belong to the world list of the biospheric reservations in the programme of UNESCO. During strolling around, tourism or only panorama from your winodow, you'll be surely attracted with the nature beauty made by glaciers: - peaks - ten of the Tatra peaks are higher than 2.600m. You can reach the highest pesk Gerlachovský štít (Gerlachov´s peak) with mountain guide. To the other peaks you'll step on by yourself (Slavkovský štít / Slavkov´s peak 2.452m), or by cable auto (Lomnický štít / Lomnica´s peak two. 632m) - valleys - during tourism to the highest peaks you'll pass the Tatzra valleys. Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa (Dobšina ice cave) (cca. 80km) - one of the most well-known caves with available length of 515m was discovered in 1870 and as the 1st cave electrically illuminated. It belongs to the world history UNESCO. Demänovská jaskyňa slobody ( Demänová cave of freedom) (1. 145m) and Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa ( Demänová ice cave) (850m), are only 60km far from the hotel.
