When you leave the airport, take the motorway (via rapida) in the direction of Funchal. Drive all the way till you get to exit n 15 CANCELA GARAJAU, ride up and turn directly at the end of the exit highway, this highway leads you to a roundabout, receive in the roundabout and leave at the sign HOTEL, which is in the direction of Funchal, go right in facade till you see another sign with HOTEL written on, turn left down the highway in the direction of Funchal, go past the entrance hall of the motorway to Funchal, go direct ahead everytime in the direction of Funchal (it's a secondary highway, that's why you don't take the highway) take note that both highways leads you to Funchal. Go everytime in facade and after a viewpoint named the Pinaculo, you will discover a small further the Hotel Ocean Gardens on the left-hand side of the highway.
