Location Information

From Lisbon:
Take the A1 road north, exit at Torres Novas (A23). Follow
the A23 and, past the town of Castelo Branco, take the Covilha
South exit. Drive to the very heart of city and look for the route to
Serra da Estrela.
(Travelling time:+/-2 and a half hours)
From Porto/Aveiro:
Take the A1 road south. At Albergaria, follow the A25, in the
direction of Viseu. Past the Guarda exit (still on the A25 route),
drive through to Covilha, on the A23. Take the Covilha North exit,
and drive to the very heart of city. Look for the route to Serra da Estrela.
(Travelling time:+/-2 hours and 50 minutes)
From Coimbra:
Take the IC2 route hiking north. Receive on the IP3 route, driving
to Viseu. Turn right before you get to Santa Comba Dao, in the
direction of Mangualde. Follow the A25 and, past the Guarda exit
(still on the A25 route), take the Covilha North exit. Drive to the
centre of city and look for the route to Serra da Estrela.

From the Algarve:
Take the A2 road in the direction of Lisbon, going through Castro
Verde to Marateca. Exit to take the A13 /N119 till you reach
Infantado, following the N10 till Vila Franca de Xira. Then take the
A1 road north, and exit at Torres Novas (A23). Follow the A23
and, past the town of Castelo Branco, take the Covilha South exit.
Drive to the very heart of city and look for the route to Serra da Estrela.
