Świnoujście has plenty of pleasing places to visit. The ancient Town Hall now houses the Museum of Deep Sea Fishing, with exhibits including the heritage of sea fishing, the city and its district, and ancient navigation equipping. Staw Młyny, on the breakwater of the harbor, is a navigation beacon and was constructed in the 19th century in the form of a windmill. The lighthouse, built in 1858, is 68 m tall and one of the highest lighthouses on the Baltic Sea.
