In 1991, the von Kuster family began buying back pieces of the estate and painstakingly restoring it for social use: the Small Castle as a comfortable hotel and restaurant, the Great Castle as a cultural heart and museum, and the Manor Farm (Dominium) as a living museum where clients able to pet farm animals and buy productions from local farmers and artisans.
